Folky acoustics mix with jazzy twists on the first of two completely different releases in 2023 from Pepa. Released alongside "Disco Funk Entertainment", the Pepa boys showcase their love of live acoustic sounds, orchestral builds, chugging grooves and surprising turns. As this rich, unique soundscape develops, various textures are layered; strings rise, flutes twinkle, even a haunting harpsichord refrains within the opening track.
